What is the ideal height for a stool?

A stool for a bar is not as high as a stool for a kitchen island. Usually stools for a bar are higher because the top of a bar is higher than the top of a kitchen island. Always allow between 27 and 30 cm between the seat of your bar stool and the underside of the leaf. This will give you plenty of legroom. If necessary, you can opt for a bar stool that is height-adjustable. This allows you to adjust your stool to the place where you use it or to the size of each of your family members. The easiest way is to try them out in one of our showrooms. You will immediately know how the height feels, whether the footrest is at the right height and whether they are comfortable for you.
