Alias stands for innovation, accents and technology

In 1979 gaat het Italiaanse meubel label Alias van start. Ze trekken gerenommeerde designers aan en creëren echte pareltjes van zitmeubelen. Kort na de oprichting had Alias enorm succes met zijn 'spaghetti chair' van de topdesigner Giandomenico Belotti. Deze bijzondere stoel werd wereldberoemd in de kunst- en designwereld en kwam terecht in de collectie van MoMa in New York. Sindsdien staat Alias design voor gedurfd, degelijk en elegant. 

Alias is timeless design

The chairs of Alias can easily be called timeless. They are not limited to a certain period of time. If you look at the 'spaghetti chair', you will see a design chair that looks beautiful in many interiors. You opt for enamelled or chrome-plated steel. The seat and the backrest are ingeniously put together and are a real eye-catcher. These chairs can best be compared to the Paludis series by Alias. The latter are equipped with a backrest and seat in straw. There is a variant of the 'spaghetti chair' with armrests. And there are stackable versions. The design is simple, but it is precisely in this design that the charm of these chairs lies.

Alias chooses color

Van bij de aanvang heeft de ontwerper, Giandomenico Belotti, voor kleur gekozen. Zo kunt u in uw interieur een strakke lijn aanhouden door bijvoorbeeld te kiezen voor wit of zwart. U gaat voor grijs voor een klassiekere uitstraling. Of u kiest bijvoorbeeld rood voor een speelse look. Of combineer verschillende kleuren met elkaar voor een nog meer speelse uitstraling. Met kleur kun je een bepaald effect in uw interieur creëren. U kunt uw Alias design stoelen perfect laten aansluiten bij de rest van uw interieur. Did you know that Alias was awarded the Furniture Fair prize in 2019 with his seat 'Time'? This award is leading in the world of design, furniture, technology and experimental design. For this chair we collaborated with the designer Häberli. He gave the concept of 'seating furniture' a new dimension. The chair rests on a well-considered frame. As a whole, the 'Time' chair is a perfect example of ergonomics. It is yet another Alias piece of furniture in a row that is solid, stylish, graceful and artistic at the same time. The Alias label already has a number of top designs on its palmares and a lot is still expected of them. With Alias you get class in your home.
